Hi, I’m Sarah!

I’m a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner with a passion for helping women balance their hormones, troubleshoot their menstrual cycle, and establish great prenatal nutrition!

When I came off of the pill after 10+ years, I was in for a rude awakening. The next year was filled with terrible cystic acne, hair loss, period issues, and the emotional rollercoaster that went along with these symptoms. I found myself wondering things like, “how will anyone trust me as a nutritionist now that my face is covered in pimples?” and “are my hormones so out of whack that I’ll never get pregnant?” I finally understood why so many women come off of the pill only to go back on again out of sheer frustration and hopelessness.

I had already been practicing as a nutrition and health coach for a few years, but at this point I decided to shift gears and dive head first into hormone health. I got to work, did my research, and devoted my time to learning everything about recovering from hormonal birth control and preparing for pregnancy… and it worked! I was able to clear up my acne, troubleshoot and regulate my menstrual cycle, and get pregnant naturally.

I know first-hand how isolating and frustrating it is to feel like your body is working against you, even when you’re doing everything “right.” I started Post Pill Project to provide women with the support and information I wish I had back when I came off of the pill. I want to empower women to navigate this change head on, take charge of their hormonal health, and start growing their family with confidence.

When I’m not working you can find me exploring and hiking around with my husband Andy, our daughter Thea, and our two pups Bo and Lola!
